Nicolette Machado
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LICSW
I am a graduate of Penn State University, where I earned a degree in Human Development and Family Studies in 2003, and the University of Pittsburgh, where I completed my Social Work degree in 2006. I bring experience from a wide range of social work settings, including hospitals, schools, mobile services supporting individuals in their homes and communities, and group outpatient clinics.
An open and welcoming approach shapes how I invite clients into the therapeutic space, with the intention of helping each person feel safe, valued, and truly heard from the very beginning. My work is guided by empathy and grace, creating space for individuals to explore their experiences without fear of judgment and at a pace that feels right for them. I believe that steady support and positive reinforcement are essential to healing, and I strive to walk alongside clients as they develop insight, emotional strength, and a renewed sense of self-trust.
As a therapist, I value authentic connection and attentive presence, and I consider it a privilege to support clients on their individual paths toward growth and well-being.
Madeline Leiter
PLMHP, PharmD
I am a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner, supervised by Nicolette Machado. I graduated with my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University in 2025. I also graduated in 2019 with a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Creighton University before transitioning to counseling. I am pursuing additional training in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy and have completed training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I have years of experience working in the field of case management in Community Mental Health, serving a variety of clients in the local community.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling burned out, struggling with executive functioning, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, or identity exploration. You may feel like you’re constantly overthinking, masking, or trying to meet expectations that don’t quite fit who you are. Therapy can help you better understand your brain, reduce overwhelm, and build systems that actually work for you.
As a licensed therapist as well as a Pharmacist (PharmD), I specialize in integrating mental health therapy with medication education and support. I help clients better understand psychiatric medications, manage side effects, and coordinate care—while providing therapy for ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other mental health concerns.
My style is warm, collaborative, and adaptable. I can be directive and skills-focused when you want concrete tools, or we can slow down and create space for deeper processing and self-exploration.
